We can all agree that speed is addictive. Whether you’re surfing in the office or burning out tyres on the wide open asphalt, the experience is phenomenal, unforgettable sometimes even the penultimate thing you need at a given time. Well, I’m sure my fellow tech-heads will be psyched to hear about the new speed freak in the tech world. Recently people were all about core i7 when it came to speed on their laptops or computers. It was the lord of all other processors available on the market, however, quite recently, it was dethroned following Intel’s release of the Core i9, successor to the i7. For those who want a bit of a kick in their workflow you might want to lower your eyes a little lower to get a feel of what exactly we are talking about.
To start off, all core i9 laptops will have it’s updated Turbo Boost 3.0. What this means, in a nutshell, is that your computer will be able to increase the CPU’s power output for short a short while without overheating. This could be beneficial when you want to run a couple of tasks on your computer at the same time. It also greatly reduces chances of crashing while using your computer. Secondly, the core i9 will have an 18 core model, an upscale from the previous 16-core models. The larger the better, right? Lastly, Intel says these will be 15% faster than the CPU brand Broadwell E, which any who’s heard of them knows that they don’t play around when it comes to their hardware.
The downside however will be that to get your hands on one of these, at least at this current stage will cost you at least $1999 for the Core 18. On top of all this, these chips are for desktop only so if you have a laptop or tablet in this scenario you’ll be sitting this one out. However, more is still to be heard from the tech giants on whether this will change or not. However, for now if you want to get your hands on one of these, they’re waiting for you online and you can conveniently purchase them on some of the legit sites this brand is currently hot on.
